A man goes to see his doctor. The man says, “Hey Doc. My arm hurts when I do this.”, to which the doctor replies, “Then don’t do that.”
My name is Gregg Bowden and I am a user experience designer/developer by trade, but first and foremost, I am a husband, musician, gamer and a student of human behaviour.
I also believe in the need for work life balance. “Work to live”, don’t “live to work”. This is my philosophy of life… if you’re doing something you don’t like, the stop doing it, and do something that you enjoy.
I bought my first computer in 1996, a 386SX with 4 whole megabytes of RAM, but my family has had a computer in the house since 1984 (ish). So I have been using computers for over twenty-five years now. I went to college for a couple of years when I was still living at home back int 92/93, but I never obtained a degree or anything. Why did I drop out of college? I had finally figured out that I could learn things faster on my own than by someone telling me. I attribute this ability to four things; common sense, flexibility, hard work and a genuine sense of wonder.
Any who, this is my blog to share some of that sense of wonder I have.
I hope you enjoy it.
